Dear valued client,
While we may have been temporarily closed for face to face appointments due to Covid-19, we have been busy providing advice to those in need by phone and email.
We have also been working hard behind the scenes putting additional resources in place for a safe reopening to protect both you and us. You may notice a few changes when you come in which are outlined here.
Healthcare in Wales including dentistry is subject to Welsh government guidelines, so we are unable to follow our English colleagues at the present time into resuming full dentistry from June 8, and so our reopening will be phased to allow a safe return to work.
From July, we shall initially deal with our patients who experienced problems while we were shut, and we would ask for your patience during this time while we help those clients with greatest need. Following on from this we have put everything in place (enhanced PPE, air purification systems, advanced infection prevention and control) so that from reopening we are well placed to transition towards the full range of routine care as soon as we are given the go ahead by the Chief Dental Officer for Wales.
As always, we remain available for advice via the usual channels and can’t wait to resume work, helping out our wonderful and valued clients.
Wishing you all the best in this difficult time.
John, Nicola and all the team at Craig y Don Dental.
